Empowering Health Decisions: Building a Future Guided by Research
JMH-DV: (Joint Monitoring for Healthcare in Domestic Violence)
The Joint Monitoring for Healthcare in Domestic Violence (JMH-DV) project, a collaboration between the Resknow Consortium and Niifs in Chuadanga, aims to improve healthcare responses to domestic violence in Bangladesh. It will combine empirical research in Chuadanga to understand survivor experiences and provider challenges with a national media report analysis to grasp broader societal perspectives. Key research questions will explore healthcare system effectiveness, access barriers, and media influence. The project’s outcomes are expected to yield evidence-based recommendations to inform policy on women’s rights, leading to stronger healthcare protocols, better training for professionals, improved referral pathways, and enhanced public awareness campaigns in Bangladesh.
